McWilliams, Stephen

StephenMcWilliams is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Saint John of God Hospital, Dublin,and Associate Clinical Professor at the School of Medicine and MedicalSciences, University College Dublin. He is a graduate of the Royal College ofSurgeons in Ireland (MB, BCh, BAO, LRCPSI), a member of the College ofPsychiatrists of Ireland (MCPsychI) and a fellow of the Royal College ofPsychiatrists in London (FRCPsych). Stephen holds a master’s degree in medicaleducation (MMEd) and a research doctorate of medicine (MD). In addition tobeing Medical Editor of Hospital Doctorof Ireland, he has authored or co-authored over 250 articles, contributedto three books and authored four more, notably Fiction and Physicians: Medicine Through the Eyes of Writers.
