Mercier Press may occasionally increase its prices unexpectedly. If this occurs or if there is a pricing error, we will check with you to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price.

Customs Charges

If you are purchasing items for delivery outside the EU, be aware that your order may incur import duties and taxes once it arrives at its destination. You are responsible for any such additional charges related to customs clearance. Mercier Press does not have influence over these charges and suggests consulting your local customs office or postal service for more details on the import taxes/duties that may apply to your purchase. Please note that there are no customs charges or VAT on books into Ireland.

Online Safety Message: Never click on links in text messages or emails from An Post/Customs/Revenue asking to pay charges, as these are scams. The only place to input a tracking number to check for customs charges is here: https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Receiving/Pay-Customs-Charge. Please note that there are no customs charges on books. If an order is held by customs in error please email info@mercierpress.ie and we will endeavour to sort out the issue.

Contract

When you place an order on www.mercierpress.ie, you’ll receive an email confirming receipt of your order, along with the order details. Your order is considered an offer to purchase a product, which we accept by sending you an email confirming the product’s dispatch (the ‘Dispatch Confirmation email’). The acceptance is finalised once the Dispatch Confirmation email is sent. Any products in the same order that aren’t confirmed in a dispatch confirmation email are not included in the contract.
