Barry Keane is a Corkonian, a history and geography teacher, and the author of a number of books and articles covering many subjects, most recently ‘Massacre in West Cork’ (Mercier Press, 2014), the definitive account of the controversial killings in Dunmanway between the signing of the Treaty and the start of the Civil War.
