About the Author & Illustrator
Eddie Lenihan, who lives in Crusheen, County Clare, is a celebrated storyteller and the author of many books for children and adults, including Gruesome Irish Tales for Children, In Search of Biddy Early and In the Tracks of the West Clare Railway.
Alan Clarke has illustrated numerous books for both children and adults including Something beginning with P. He has completed numerous commissions for murals, book covers,caricatures and magazine, and has designed concepts for animation and theatre. His paintings and drawings have been exhibited in Ireland and abroad - at the International Children's Book Fair in Bologna, Italy; the Itabashi Art Museum in Tokyo and the Art Institute of Chicago, among others.
