Keane, Eamon
Eamon Keane is an experienced journalist having reported on and presented various RTE programmes. He has also worked for the BBC and South African Broadcasting Corporation. He comes from a family with strong media connections- son of actor Eamon, nephew of Kerry legend John B. Keane and brother of BBC reporter Fergal Keane. A sports enthusiast, he religiously follows the Munster rugby team around Europe. He has directed and presented three television documentaries for RTE, including the acclaimed Fields of Gold programme on Munster rugby great Mick Galwey. Mick also contributes regularly to Lunchtime on rugby. Eamon's other love is music and he has sold out gigs in venues such as the Sugar Club in Dublin.
