Ó Sé, Maidhc Dainín

Maidhc Dainí­n Ó Sé, a man of many talents, was a well-known author in his native Irish language, with eleven books published. In the 1950s, Maidhc moved to England then settled in Chicago where during his ten years there he met and played music with many of the great traditional Irish musicians who lived there at that time. He later moved to Kerry with his wife and family.

Edited by Gabriel Fitzmaurice. He is the author of more than forty books including Im Proud to be Me, Really Rotten Rhymes and The Boghole Boys. He has been described as one of Irelands favourite poets and has also translated from the Irish language both Ventry Calling and Poems from the Irish.
