Mercier Press welcomes unsolicited submissions from authors.

We publish primarily for the Irish market and as such our list focuses on Irish interest non-fiction.

Currently we are seeking mainly History, Biography/Memoir, Politics/Current Affairs, Sport, Lifestyle & Cookery, Folklore and Humour.

While ordinarily we do publish some fiction, children’s and poetry, we are not currently seeking any new unsolicited submissions in these areas as our publishing programme in these areas is currently full. This is subject to change - so watch this space!

Non- Fiction Submissions

Please send a Cover Letter (not more than 1 page or 500 words) , an Author CV (including a 200 word bio) and a Synopsis (not more than 2 pages or 1500 words) to us by e-mail  (commissioning AT mercierpress.ie). If you must send your submission by post note that we DO NOT RETURN SUBMITTED MATERIAL WITHOUT PAID IRISH POSTAGE. Material is submitted at your own risk, please do not send your only copy.
