Today's Irish Times has an interview with Managing Director of Mercier Press, Clodagh Feehan. On the challenges of publishing Ms. Feehan says:

'I would say our biggest challenge is to identify fresh opportunities to grow within a mature industry, while at the same time identifying new business models which incorporate and take full advantage of the opportunities digital technology presents.'

Ms. Feehan also highlights Mercier’s longevity in the publishing world, as illustrated by the fact that, at next October’s Frankfurt Fair, Mercier will be presented with a special award to mark 55 years of unbroken attendance.
