Last week Mercier Press was delighted to present Robin Webster, the Chief Executive of Age Action Ireland, with a cheque for € 3,960 as a contribution from the sales of the book, Our Grannies Recipes.

We all have recipes that are dear to our hearts, passed on to us from our grannies, grandads, great aunts and uncles. Our Grannies’ Recipes is a collection of the country’s favourite Irish dishes, handed down from generation to generation. A contribution from every copy sold went to Age Action Ireland.

When handing over the cheque, Clodagh Feehan, MD of Mercier Press said; We are delighted to acknowledge the work of Age Action Ireland. Their efforts in promoting positive ageing and lobbying for improved policies and services for older people are so important in our society.
