Verling, Martin

Martin Verling was born in Portlaw, Co. Waterford in 1946. Attended Portlaw Primary School, Patrician Brothers, Mallow, Co. Cork and Presentation Brothers College Western Road, Cork. He did a BSC in Zoology, Botany and Geology in UCC in 1969 and holds an MA in An Léann Dúchais from UCC in 1986. He has taught Biology in De La Salle College, Waterford for 30 years. He is married with two children to Emma Murphy, formerly of Eyeries, Beara, Co. Cork
