O'Doherty, Malachi

Malachi O'Doherty was born in Donegal and grew up in Belfast. He trained as a journalist, covering the early days of the Troubles, and then left Ireland in 1972. He writes a weekly column for the Belfast Telegraph, and now lives in Belfast with his wife, Maureen Boyle.
