Kennelly, Brendan

Brendan Kennelly was born in Ballylongford, County Kerry in 1936. He was educated at St. Itas College, Tarbert, Trinity College, Dublin and Leeds University. His published works include My Dark Fathers, Dream of a Black Fox, Love Cry, The Voices, A Small Light, Selected Poems, Cromwell, The Book of Judas, Moloney Up and At It and Love of Ireland: Poems from the Irish. He is a Professor of Modern Literature at Trinity College, Dublin.
